At least the stream is back where it is supposed to be and not overflowing its banks. .

These blues seem to have a life of their own.

I don't know about the blues, but I love, love, love your cat! Genie is lucky, indeed.

I remember after Hurricane Hugo, for years debris tangled in trees remained there, becoming almost like landmarks. I love your blues allusion.

Looks as if the blues may be hanging around for a while longer. Wishing your area the best in this long recovery!

Gosh this shot shows clearly the damage still around from the aftermath. What an experience that was for you all. I wonder where and what that splash of blue started out as, and now here it is abandoned! One of those images that start you off thinking Brattcat.

It does make me wonder where that splash of blue came from.

I think I've seen pictures of this very spot in your blog and in news stories previously.

Sometimes the blues cannot be banished very easily.

It's nice to see a stream/river rather than a raging torrent!

As long as the tree won't disturb anyone, it will probably stay there..Let's consider it as a reminder to enjoy the moment, we don't know what's coming next..

This kind of flood trash can stay there for ages!

It makes people walking by reflect on past events.

Could be a catchy book title..."Even our trees get the blues". :)
The stream bed reminds me of the one in Rye, NY.

It is a bit of an eyesore, but time and entropy will take care of it.
