brattleboro was blessed yesterday

with the most divine (not bovine) weather
for the fourth annual "brattstock"
all performers and organizers donated their time.
all contributions benefit project feed the thousands.

thanks to julian and lisa for a smokin' music festival on the common.

and thanks to new followers madge, lory and purplerain
who have chosen to rock it in brattleboro with the rest of us.
the next follower will make 300. far out!

Interesting concept: Brattleboro Common. Is that like the English Common of yore? When I was young, the small country town in which I lived (pop=800) had a common up the back of town, on which one could apply to agist cows (can agistment have a verb form?). It was left in its natural state. We also had a showground, on which this sort of event was held.
