autumn

has worked its magic once again

(thank you all for your kind comments yesterday on my 1000th post.
an early snow storm clobbered us yesterday.
it's so strange to see the trees with their autumn finery hidden under blankets of snow)

Very pretty shot. Are you covered in white this morning? I've been hoping the snow would miss you. I think Vermont has had enough weather trouble for awhile!

Wet snow on deciduous trees with leaves is a recipe for broken branches and downed power lines.

A couple of really outstanding autumn photos. Oh how I wish to see your part of the country some day. I really like the frosted leaf from the previous post, too. Really great stuff!!

Apologies, Brattcat. I deleted the previous post - wrote one thing, changed it, didn't read it thru - total nonsense in grammar and spelling, so we start again...

I love this beautiful autumn shot. You have such stunning autumns in Vermont. Now we can look forward to your beautiful snow photography. Just hope it's not too hard a winter for you. You've had enough terrible weather to last a lifetime.
