Sort of creepy if you ask me. Same feeling I had when seeing that lone eye on the white whale that had it in for Ahab... ya, sort of creepy.

Any your choice is absolutely fine with me. The "award" thing can be obtrusive in a way, on the other hand it is good opportunity to say "Hi!" to great blogs.
