I think this is a good idea Brattcat, you've had a big shock and you need to rest and reassess. Take care and will catch up with you when you feel strong enough.

Living in the moment is the very best philosophy!

Look within to all that is kind and good and full of love and realise that God IS a God of love and there will come a time when all will be made clear but it is not in this lifetime.

Soak up the sun let yourself be enveloped by eternal love.

I hope you are going to a place where the warmth of the sun will heat your bones and fill your heart and ease your cares!

You take all the time you need to gather the sun inside you. Be well. MB

Superb cat portrait, but I would not have expected any less.

Yes, with a big shock like you suffered, a break is good. See you upon your return.

Collect yourself, be at peace, and come back when you are ready.

You will have read Didion's magical though processes ... I have marked passages for my future periods of disquiet .... stretch out and absorb some warmth.

I've been known to curl up where the sun lights up the room just like your kitty. What a "cutie" your cat is. Sunlight does feel good on old bones for sure.

brattcat, I've been catching up on two weeks of your photos and I see/feel something new here - such elegant light and soft focus, such painterly images. I'm trying to discern if you are doing something different and if so, what. . . . Bee-u-tee-ful.
