Beautiful photo of luscious fruit. Apricots are wonderful and so are plums!

"This is Just to Say"

I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox

and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast

Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold

These are real beauties. I used to have an apricot tree in my back yard, but it died two years ago sort of unexpectedly. I think because of the heat here, the fruit never got very big, but they were still tasty.

Ummm, and Kate's WCW poem has me longing for cold fruit. It will be another month before we see apricots here, but hey, strawberries are here!
Enjoy those luscious apricots. Hope this is a good start to a wonderful holiday weekend for you BC.

I never was much of an apricot fan, but I'd be tempted to give these a try! Beautiful, fruity, photo!

Pookie read your comment on Ocala DP and said, "Arf!"

A peach in Georgia is pretty nice. Not to be outdone by a Florida orange. Apricots are pretty good, too.
