This very pretty landscape. Love these flowers... mine took years before it flowered. And welcome back! Hope you're all re-charged. Hello from Montreal.
My wife is planning to do a photo book for the first time, with all of the photos on the same theme. When we talked about captions, I told her that she needs to do captions like Brattcat. Your post today gives me a perfect opportunity to tell Julie, "I told you so."
Gee, they look so different up there! Down here, we more often see mountain laurel (Connecticut's state tree) as a specimen or as part of a planted shrub row. Yours looks like they have gone native.
Oh that's very lovely Brattcat, lilac is the perfect colour for flowering shrubs. I like the old bits of tree stumps sticking out of the water making added reflections. I hope you had a funfilled break and welcome back.
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

Ooo, I love the soft pastel reflections of the mountain laurels, one of my favorite shrubs. They remind me of the Smokies.
You're poetic this morning, and this view needs some choice words. Mission accomplished.

A beautiful reflection of the star-flowers of mountain laurel. My mom and dad had an exuberance of them when they lived in the NC mountains
