The guy dressed in black in the top photo looks like a chimney sweep or an undertaker, not really what one thinks of as the partying type.
Yesterday Julie bought two pair of "Darn Tough Vermont" hiking socks, which proudly proclaimed that they are the best socks ever and are made in Vermont. The package showed a rugged man in a flannel shirt who did not look anything like the two men you showed today.

Oh I bet there's more than one week end a year of revelry in Vermont Brattcat, from your photo's it looks like a fun place to live.
have fun!!
These are a couple of strange 'get-ups' as my grandmother would call them.
Very cool portraits, Brattcat!

To mark a special occasion or just to tip a few...or a hat. Great hats!
Looks like some partying is going to happen . . .
Looks like a great event there, I love those hats and I'm anxious to see more pictures, please!

...in some very interesting head gear!
Ooh I love the gent's shirt. The second one that is.
No, I would not have photographed the gent's 'restroom'. Even if dared to. :-)
Sounds interesting.
The second guy has more courage than I do. That hat? That shirt?
I like revelers! And reveling. I think I'd like Brattleboro!
It's also fun when revelers dress up in reveling costumes.
