A fine image of a very appealing place, brattcat. Sure looks more like Europe than Brattleboro.

Lovingly captured. . .

Lovely haiku! Isn't it fun to fit information into that form? You are right about the European feel to the photo.

This is so much more charming than a modern suburban house that has a big, closed garage facing the street.

I love that some folk wherever they choose to live in the world, add that special touch to their homes. Wonderful find Brattcat.

The number 24 does stand out for some reasons. Love the shot

I love finding scenes like this that remind me of places visited or places still on the visit list.

European style? The sign looks Frank Lloyd Wright-ish. Well, yes, maybe Scotland, Charles Rennie Macintosh-ish. I haven't counted the syllables but your text is very close to a haiku. The mix works.

I agree with Jilly: charming. And the detailed composition avoids us having to know that there is a garage door just out of frame right.

There is such contention over haiku: whether strict syllable counting is necessary; or, whether it is more necessary to have the third line with a 'message'.
