Rain is a welcome relief for some of the hot weather people have endured. I think that it could be better if you had a tin roof where the raindrops dance and sing. But, it sounds like you have a pretty snug place without it
Everytime I see an umbrella I think of you. You taught me - thankyou forever - to like photography in the rain! Now I love it. And now we just need rain. Horrific temperatures here, Brattcat - not good. Hopefully cooler with you.

And beautiful flowers blooming too! Sounds wonderful! No rain here, and it's been over 100 everyday this week.
In theory, yes. Not now though. Our summer so far has been so horrible that I want to enjoy a bit of warmth and fresh air!
Well, ya, but I'll certainly take this afternoon til 'better' comes for a visit. LOVE cherries in summer... like peanuts.
Perfect program!I'll dream about it while watching your poetic picture..
For a restful change of pace, I would take that, but let's not overdo the rainy summer days.

Quite an abstract work. Good clever composition
Great harmony of thoughts, picture and words! But getting wet under a heavy rain is not so bad.
Lovely composition!
You do know how to take care of yourself...and it's good advice for others, too.
And the raindrops hitting the roof give one of the best sounds I ever heard.
Thank you for this poem.
It does sound very appealing Brattcat, although I may have to swap the cherries for choc covered nuts!!
I love that idea, especially the bowl of cherries.
Delicious
