Seems like the old building is losing the battle and will soon be overrun by nature.

It is possible that a lawnmower and a few gallons of paint could transform this place into something less interesting, perhaps, but more liveable.

This reminds me of how a house would look in Florida if let go for a week or two!

Someone may soon be stripping the barnsiding and making it into coffee tables, flooring or some other re-use.

I must admit I do like a garden to be a touch wild, not too neat but this might be pushing the boundaries just a tad too far. Hope you're enjoying your weekend Brattcat.

Sad but lovely, like an almost forgotten memory.

Parts of my yard looked like this in the spring before I attacked it.

There's a lazy gardener somewhere here...

PS: Don't ask for Malyss in Monaco, the local hero's name is Malicia...A soldier disguised as a monk !

Amazing how nature can embellish and add character to the works of mankind.

But somehow they seem so perfect there, I'd hate to think of them being mowed down!

I love to see derelict buildings like this one, especially when they're rusty.

Oh wow, somebody needs a high horsepower trimmer.

I thought I heard something on NPR this morning about an feature on All Things Considered next Monday night about crime in Brettleboro. Do you know about this?

If I lived in America again and could...I'd do nothing but photograph the beautiful old barns. They should be protected and cherished. Sure some are.
