And did you take a turn on this swing? Like the one in my neighborhood, it looks a bit low for an adult.

Swings are all about summer. I could pass sometime here.

A house with a swing in the back yard like this, spells "home" for me. Nice pic.

That takes me back to my childhood :)

P.S. South of us got the brunt of the storm, rumor has it that there was a small tornado.

When you write a novel, let me know. I want to read it. So poetic.......

A tree like that in a back garden, is just designed for a swing, the lamp post is an added bonus.

What a beautiful and quiet little spot for a swing.

I would find this difficult to resist.

I'll bet this goes with the cottage from yesterday...yes?

Reminds me of the swing Lois Anne and I swung (swang?) on at Lake Vermilion in Minnesota 54 years ago on our honeymoon!

I would have loved to swing today. The breeze would feel good in the heat. My great grandmother had a wooden swing for me in the oak tree of her yard :)

There's no swing like one hanging on a tree.

Idyllic. There's something about a swing, no matter our age, that draws us. Memories of childhood I suppose or perhaps something we never did. Beautiful shot.
