our little world is turning upside down

because julie goes home today...
but she leaves our fridge filled with
brownies and cookies and cake
and she leaves our hearts filled with magical memories.
thank you, dear julie.
may your journey be swift and safe.
thank you, julie's family,
for sharing your 'jewel' with the brattcats.

Sounds like you had a wonderful time Brattcat, I think your friend Julie is lucky as well!! Those goodies wouldn't last two minutes in my fridge haha!

Exactly what everyone else has said: beautiful reflection (both image and memory).

You have a lot of reflection going on to match your reflective photo.

Time flies so fast when with the loved ones..

But even upside down your little world is still beautiful!

Delightful angle and reflection. Usually when people leave after a visit there is less food in the refrigerator. Except at our house, people know not to expect much food in the fridge, except leftover cartons from a restaurant meal or carry out.

Like silent after Mozart is still Mozart, cookies left behind by Julie are still Julie..

It is a beautiful image, brattcat, and an even more beautiful tribute to Julie. She is lucky to be so loved.

I appreciate your kind words on HDP today, as well as your frequent visits. I have spent lots of time in Brattleboro and enjoy your interpretation of it.

I love the reflection you chose for this day, Brattcat. How lucky I am to have friends who welcome me into their hearts and kitchen to share stories and sweets.

My brother went back to Georgia after wonderful week in Moscow. The part of the heart is empty, I feel it physically. But blogging helps!
Great photo.
What is left? Sweet memories and sweet photos.
