Well for late snow, you captured it beautifully if not with great regret! We had bad storms last night that left us with a chill in the air. Hope it didn't knock too many blooms off our trees and shrubs.

Already blooming here in Northern Italy... a perfect 68F. But soon it will be so hot and damp that we all wished we lived in Vermont!
would love to send some heat from mumbai which sizzles at 30c!

I love Vermont, but I don't looooove it that much.
The snow is slowly melting here, but only straw-like grass is revealed underneath.
But that "little shudder of snow" just doesn't seem to want to quit! Opinions vary...
APRIL is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.
Winter kept us warm, covering
Earth in forgetful snow, feeding
A little life with dried tubers.
This looks too familiar... we push on.
Oh No

I'd sent warm thoughts your way, if I had any to spare! Alas, we have been cold, cold, cold too... although not QUITE cold enough for snow. So I won't complain. You must be getting so tired of it, but your words and picture are, as usual, utterly beautiful.
