This could be a natural ski slope in nature. It has natural beauty. Something those spray painted blue lines at the Olympics tended to ruin but I understand it was for the ski person's depth of field judgement. I never heard that one in any of the past winter Olympics. I learned something this year.

difficult to imagine there's atown or an hospital in the neighborhood..You seem to be lost in a marvellous middle of nowhere!

It looks incredibly beautiful sitting here viewing it at my desk in South Florida.

I had to come back and say, "WOW." To sleeping next to the Yellowstone Buffalo Herds. I don't remember the Indians making much talk about the sounds of the buffalo. I did a ton of research on them when I wrote a book, Buffalo and Indians but don't remember that.

This is beautiful. It looks like it is in the middle of the woods.

Really beautiful! I can't tell where the snow ends and the sky starts! I'm glad you noticed it :)

Really beautiful scenery, I would definitely notice it, unless I was in the back of an ambulance.

The next couple of weeks are not good for me :(

It is lovely. I imagine not many people notice the beauty of the everyday-- that's what makes your job so important! You're wonderful at it, too.

I hope that if I am on the way to the hospital I would notice this beautiful scene and think I was in Heaven. Certaintly no snow in the "other place". MB

I suppose it depends on what sort of mental and physical condition they are in when they arrive!

What a gorgeous winter wonderland. Although if people are on their way to a hospital for any reason, it's likely there minds are on other things than the beauty of nature...

Your photo has captured the serene glory of this scene so well!

...a hospital for skiers, I guess! Very nice post, like all the previous snowy ones, actually... all exposed to perfection: it's often difficult to get the snow right.

Nice and handy if you break a leg.
You're right, I'm sure a lot of people don't notice.

The snow, the sky, the oines, the deep shadows -- all make a wonderful picture. It almost makes me wish I lived in the snowbelt. Almost but not quite. It is 60* F and sunny in Tulsa.

What a beautiful winter scene. Do you get to the hospital by horse drawn sleigh? I hope you were just visiting . . .

So beautiful, peaceful and calm. And the snow is so white.

Wonderful landscape. I hope they don't have to walk in the snow to get there...
