skywatch friday: after the snow

winter has a hearty appetite.
it nips at houses and nibbles on trees.
and all the while the sky sighs like a proud parent.

This house is a dream!I've never visited a house like that, I would love know it inside.I imagine myself in that window, maybe it's a children room, with lots of lovely toys around and a sent of happiness and orange in the air!
Hmmm so beautiful post, thanks a lot!

Winter knows that the time to play will soon be over, so it runs everywhere to take joys all the ways it can...

I agree, such a lovely house. I would love to curl up on a couch in the turret and read a book all day long. Beautiful!

Brattleboro is a beautiful place, so many amazing homes and the snow is like icing.

Love the house and setting. This is another of your postcard-perfect winter scenes. It's just what I see and imagine a wintry, New England town looks like about now.

And, the house IS old, right?

The house is beautiful but the trees/bushes covered with snow/ice. Amazing shot!

What a terrific house! And the sky/parent comparison is inspired.

something I"ve not asked. Are these delightful words yours my friend? Well either way, I relish them each and every day. I wish I had the gift, but I certainly appreciate it when others do!

What a lovely old, grand Victorian house, I love the scalloped shingles. The snowy trees just make the image magical.

Wonderful house being so well tended to. I love all the angles and shapes that make up this house. I also like the shingle detail, 3rd floor windows, and the interesting porch of course. The snow adds lots of interest as well.
