i can't sit up for many minutes at a time

So , it was the knee!In winter with snow, I guess it HAD to be the knee..
Take time to rest, and, if you can't walk, read, write, and take time to dream!
i'm glad to see you back, and I hope you'll get better soon.
Hugs from Nice!

You slipped on ice or snow?

It is easy to do.

Hope you are feeling much better.

Oh my, we tall people don't do nearly so well taking a tumble as we did when we were shorter. I'm so sorry you've taken a nasty spill and I hope the pain is decreasing by the minute and your injuries are mending nicely. Perhaps this is your opportunity for taking "straight up" shots from a prone position :-). Glad you are back publishing, and sending you a big cyber hug!
Beautiful sky capture here!

Without a picture in it, your Sunday post has slipped by in my dashboard, so I learned about the bad news only now.

Let's hope your knee mends quickly, in time for Spring walks and picture taking.

By the way: after a very long, harsh, cold and foggy winter, spring seems to be finally in the air, around here... can't wait!

BEST WISHES, Giorgio.

Almost forgot: great shot! If this is the quality of your archive, please, keep digging in it!

So glad to hear you're at least back amongst us. Knees are always bad, my June 09 injury is still noticeable... It is a beautiful photo btw.

So glad to see you're functioning - more or less! Knees are tricky, so you will certainly be a good girl and take proper care of it, right?

And if this is the kind of photos that you plan to post, well, yippee! Looks like Florida to me!

Get well soon, my friend! We're sending healing light your way! (Well, Lois is, I'm not sure what that means! :-))

This sounds serious; take care and I hope that you are getting some therapy. Photo of brooding sky fits the incident, I guess!

It's really great to see you posting again, Brattcat. This picture is a "keeper" . . . I'd be putting it on my desktop and looking forward to the day I'd be getting back there.

I'm sure you will make the most of your situation and take things day by day with your healthy outlook.

It could be an interesting journey to document . . . photo essay perhaps???

I hope the pain and discomfort subsides soon.
