as the snow continues to fall

in boots and scarves, hats and coats
we lumber into pubs for a warming draft
(roofs look clean because the heavy snow sheds regularly,
sidewalks and streets look clean because we have such outstanding plowmen)

These do look like wonderful retreats to escape the cool of the season. The snow actually has an attraction in your photos. Not enough that I'd want to partake of it, but... :-)

These two look like charming and welcoming establishments. A good place to take refuge from bad weather.

Come in, come in, the cozy buildings beckon . . .

Being snowed it must be a numbing way to live for a season a year!

Your roofs also look clean because Vermonters are wise enough to build structures with steeply pitched roofs to encourage snow to slide off.

64 and sunny in southern Ohio today. No more than an inch this year, not a problem as far as I'm concerned but nice to look at.

Long live the plowmen! I remember fondly from years gone by in Wisconsin!

We were buried in snow about 3 weeks ago, but now it seems a memory of the far past.

We had a fine spring day today, with around 13C.
