july, and the morning yawns and stretches,

then lowers its noddy head back on the downy pillow
and slumbers a wee bit longer.

I agree with your sentiment about sleeping a little longer, at least on weekends.

Your photo speaks summer without saying a word.

Yawny yawn, you made me sleeeeepy with your drowsy words. . .

Looks like some serious gardening going on there, even if a sleepy break is needed on occasion.

Jeez, brattcat, your poetry is making me sleepy and there are still many more blogs to see . . .

Well you sure got that right. And now it is August and it's way to hot to do anything. MB

Thanks for the tip Brattcat..I will definitely include a cloth from now on and maybe while the rain is so heavy I should find myself a good spot indoors looking out :)

Brattcat, I have a question for you. Way back in the 90's I made an October trip to Vermont, NH, and Maine to see the trees change color and while driving in Vermont I came across a type of farm stand where the hillside was covered with stuffed (toy) sheep and cows. It was so eye-catching that we stopped to have a look around. They sold flowers and fruits and veges and lots of other trinkets. I'm wanting to post a couple of the pictures I took there on my new travel site but I can't seem to find the name of the place or where exactly it was. Would you happen to have any idea? I thought for sure I'd find a photo or something on the internet but so far no luck. My email address can be accessed on my profile. Thanks.

Thanks for the help Brattcat, that was it!

I hope you enjoy every moment of this summer.

I believe cats to be spirits come to earth. A cat, I am sure, could walk on a cloud without coming through.
