walker farm - six

the delightful offerings at walker farm wouldn't be nearly so grand
without the behind-the-scenes efforts of the gardeners

It must be hard to work there when it's hot. It's nice from you to pay tribute to those guys!

I do agree with Malyss! It does look like hard work and having a tribute paid to them is probably not an everyday occurrence. Thank you for sharing!

An intriguing glimpse - those floaty white plant coverings, the improvised head covers . . .something both oldy-worldy and modern here.

This looks like serious effort from people who really know what they are doing!

That is such hard work. We have a lot of men and women that work the Stone Creek golf course every day in all kinds of weather...and some of that work is truly back-breaking. But they make the place beautiful and should be duly rewarded!

Yes you're so right Brattcat, a lot of hard work goes into a successful enterprise.

The rows almost resemble a river in this shot of industrious work.

(Love the Coke ice chest from yesterday!)

Is that covering still for frost? Whatever the reason it makes for a nice photo.

Isn't this interesting. They look like transparent tunnels. I have no idea why?

Like "plastic rivers!"
Hard work.

Love the blurred effect on top and bottom of the image, makes a beautiful composition! About the b&w images... is very simple, in the process of conversion color to B&W, you remove 95% of color and thats it.

My favorite kind of gardens are the one's that tend themselves... I wish I had one :^) We have so much yard work to catch up with but it won't stop raining!

Hand tended gardens are always the best.

What an atmospheric photo. Makes me feel hot and tired just looking at it. Those guys are working hard in tough conditions.
