When I see kids playing together, I always think of gathered birds like this, flying and screaming all around; Birds and kids are the same, light, frail, funny to observe, enjoying the moment.

Love this flock (birds and city daily people)!

The only thing lacking is the ability to gather together and nest on a regular basis in real time! Great feeder and good friends sharing the bounty.

Very nice. What's the bigger bird in the first photo! By the by, Jane Goodall was a man! :-)

Keep on keeping on with CDP! Your blog is always a pleasure!

The flock does make me realize that we are all much closer with friendships around the world.

Julie and I are faced with a dilemma now that it is warm in Arizona. If we open the window shades it disturbs the birds who have built their nests in the support structure for the window shades. We have opened the shades only twice this spring, both times when parties necessitated it.

Perfect images to express your thoughts Brattcat, and they remind me that I haven't been up close with my own birds in the garden for a while, must do something about that.

A bird seen at the feeder is worth two not seen in the bush...
