theme day: construction

the marina, a favorite among locals and guests,
after a devastating fire one year ago
rises from her ashes
like a phoenix.

Fires are so frightening! A very good series of photos to show how the phoenix works!

My link to the portal for theme day photos does not work, hope you visit me anyway. That darn computer-voodoo is at work again!

And, like the phoenix, even more beautiful than before.

It looks like a very nice marina. It must have taken a lot of money to rebuild in just one year.

What a beautiful response to tragedy.

Good to see it's being rebuilt. From the looks of the building and the area I can see why it would be a big hit! I wouldn't mind spending a little time there myself!

It looks like the enhanced the place during the reconstruction, but kept the color scheme and, hopefully, the charm.
