I assume that this is an advertising flyer for a product that the company thinks women will buy. While we usually refer to advertisements and catalogues as "junk mail," but this is probably the top of the junk mail.
Wonderful capture with your eye for detail... The colors (merci, Gorbio) and composition could stand on their own but the beau gosse gentleman is the perfect finish!
A perfect shot for today! It looks as though he's comptemplating how he ended up stuffed in a box. Or, maybe he's just enjoy the view down one of those narrow, colorful streets.
So, if I get this right, you went from the South of England to the South of France... or is this an older picture? If you did, we might have crossed somewhere in the air, since I went to visit Paris 10 days ago. I hope you had the same great weather we did!
Me again. No, I don't know Archer Mayor. I just identify Brattleboro in part with Joe Gunther and him. http://hartforddailyphoto.blogspot.com/2011/01/whodunit.html
Re your question on Florida Fotos: No, the light had just come on - it was early evening. But when I posterized the shot, it washed out the sky. Confused you, heh?
Actually I learned about the CITY DAILY PHOTO "thing" from you, the time I saw you partecipating in a Theme Day. I have quite a few pictures of my Province, therefore it was very natural to put up a Reggio Emilia Daily Photo Blog... actually I don't have enough to post one a day, so it's more like a "Reggio Emilia WEEKLY Photo".
We went to Paris on April 19 and come back on the 25th. When I get around to it I'll start looking at the 1000s of pictures I took there.
Our time in Paris was certainly great and I can believe that your time in Nice was too: I went to Camargue by car a few years ago and the whole south coast of France is just beautiful!
BTW: you were about 400 Km (250 miles) from my hometown!

Even if he DOES pick his nose....
Lol. But I prefer my husband!
Thoughtful box... with a smile!
I guess some (many) mademoiselles would appreciate to find this in their mailboxes... :)
God bless you!

Anyway... great shot!
There's a guy living in Jilly's mailbox??? How strange.:)
Nice shot. This mailbox goes way back in time!
Very unique one...
It is a very good and funny photograph for this month's theme, Brattcat, taken at Brattleboro's newly annexted suburb, Gorbio.
Thx for joining HDP. I hope you occasionally see interesting posts. Say hello to Archer Mayor for me.
Har! What a perfect take on this month's theme!

I love this! What a great addition this would be to a homophone unit at school!
Whether of not it's a good calling card depends on, um, your tastes. Good composition and sharp eye.
This trip hasn't changed your great sense of humor!!
He's cute but the bigger deal is the fab color of the mail box.
Now that's a welcome sight in any mailbox! :)
Thank you for the welcome back, Brattcat.
THAT PHOTO, priceless! Male box? Possibly the best entry on the theme!
I can only agree with V. and jb.
Loved your series about Menton, I heard of your visit through Jilly of course.
