Wow! To live there.

The expanse of green forest is highlighted by the solitude of the one house. What a charming place. I think this scene would inspire artists, such as, perhaps, Irina in Moscow.

Surrounded by green. Nice.

It is wonderful to see something dwarfed by greenery...finally, after our recent loooong winter in so many parts of our country. So many shades of green...love it!

The pretty house nestled among the spring green is a delight!

The house looks very isolated from all but the arms of mother nature.

It is a beautiful place, Brattcat. We are having un-ending rain here in Hartford and it is forecast to continue for most of the coming week. I need some inspiration to get out and take pictures of something like this, that looks good in the rain.

... and what a pretty petticoat she has chosen as well!

Tell Jack that everything looks good in the rain...

How many shades of green can that be? More than Sherwin-Williams has for sure!

Glimmer green skirts look so much prettier with a light dusting of silver sheen! Mist subdues and enhances simultaneously. I love the way you think in fabric.

Stunning! How wonderful to live there surrounded by such amount of trees.

Your words are always capable to distract me for a moment from your excellent images. This is so beautiful and your choice of words perfect!

That's a view of lushness and isolation us city types never quite understand.

"Flounces" is
The perfect word
For skirts of green
Gracing hillsides
With trees
So lean
And full
Standing tall
As shady sentries
Guarding earth
Photosynthesizing
Our rebirth.

Hi BC...I really do like this photo...

I'm wondering if I could use the photo and your comments as an intro to the poem and post all that on Creative Confections?

Will you send me an email with your OK?

Thanks!
