Rain can be so cruel to apple blossoms. I do agree.

Ah, but the greens look so fresh and vibrant. They like the rain it seems. But too much of a good thing is a bad thing (I think someone famous said that once).

I think everyone has had more than their share of rain. I know we have.

"Rain rain, go away!" But, not too far since it has allowed the greening of so many places of summer beauty.

I am so totally sick of all this rain!
You are more than welcome to come to any show, however, I am on the fence about this weekend...still feeling less than perfect and they are talking thunderstorms! I will be in Shelburne Falls in June. There's a schedule on my other blog. It would great fun to meet!

The rain might be heavy, but it is a lot lighter than the snow, so I suspect that the plants are not complaining.

I'm reading a lot of you complaining about rain, and here we have dryness..Would n't it be great to be able to do some exchanges, you send water, we send sun?..Let's try to talk to the skies all together!

The rain is good for the roots but, bad for the blossoms.

I do love how the blossoms look as they drift down from tree limbs, but I guess that the rain cuts that experience short!

Lovely shots and wishing for you a bit of sunshine!

The rain has played
A song of spring
And with the sun
Brings to life -
Ev'rything!

Incredible - so many blossoms on the ground - even more than in your dotted swiss post. Hope the rain stops soon.

I hope the bees will not decide now that they can take a vacation.

Glad to know that even Nature bungles things, once and then!

I'm not much of a gardener, but I'm sure they will recover once the torrential downpours stop.

Can't find my words for this first photo. Sublime would be right, I guess.
