if we gaze into these windows

could we glimpse this house's soul?

It is some style or something but it does look like two defense cabins stuck together by an aspiring architecture student. It looks altogether chopped up. I am guessing the rooms are small too.

I think you would see tiny rooms if you peeked in the window and not much of a soul.

I'd the say the soul of the house is the family who lives there, so if you spot someone from the family... :)
God bless you!

It might be vacant. Not a soul.

Looks empty . . .vacant? Soul in hiding?

If it is not empty, walking up to look into a window might get one arrested for being a peeping Tom.

I wonder....

If we could glimpse the soul of this old house, it would have much to reveal. Perhaps it could be the stuff of a new novel, by... Brattcat.

The soul is behind the face, for houses as for humans. But who could be sure to discover a soul, and to understand it, no matter the kind of face is hidding it?...

Without a doubt!!

I looked very closely - but not a soul was stirring - no one peeping out the windows - not a sound to be heard.

Speaking metaphorically about the house I assume. I would say we cannot know a "soul" by material objects. -- barbara

In answer to your question, I don't think so...you might surprise some nekkid people, though. That would be an Oopsy!

Welcome back! Hope you had a good trip!

P.S. I looked into my closet and found several soles. That's probably not what you meant, though... :-)

It's a quiet, kindly soul, that's for sure.

Brattcat, I have a funny feeling that this is the kind of house best admired from a distance.

I am not sure this would always be a good idea...
