So, I guess candidates kept them in 'stitches' all night. For me, that would have been worth the price of admission!
This seems so calm and respectful compared to the political high-jinks going on in my state.
Based on the body language, a couple of the attendees look like they don't like what they're hearing. I'm glad to see a good turnout. Our primary is next Tuesday -- can't wait!
The participation in democracy exemplified by the tradition of New England town hall meetings is a model for the USA, and the world.

Love the concentration. The only person I've seen in France who knits is my neighbour. I can't imagine people doing it in public, but why not?
Good that some people are actively taking part, so that they make concious decisions that will certainly have effect on their future.

They look so serious while listening! the speaker must be really interesting..or gifted to speak to an audience!
I should have been there to knit and listen, too! Timing is everything!
It looks like everyone was paying strict attention to the speakers, save the photographer. Photography is more important anyway.
Sort of a sit-down chorus line. Vermonters may be closer to democracy than the rest of the country.
I don't want to be jaded but I have mixed feelings about politicians these days. Yearning for the days of idealism; perhaps I'm just yearning for the days of my youth and Camelot.
It's good to see people involved and paying attention.
