if a black cat is an omen of bad luck

what luck do you suppose a white cat brings?
may friday the 13th be a wonderfully uneventful day for you.

As the saying goes, "If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all."

Oh, forgot about the date until I read your post. I think that it is fascinating how both black and white are symbolically used to depict different values. Literature (and life) is full of references to them.

I dont know, but I'll ask Luna in Luxembourg: she's got all them colors. Have a nice friday!

What a lovely little creme puff! Good luck I guess!
See the CDP blogger I met in Norway on my blog today. My family and I just returned last night from a month in Scandinavia!

LOVE cats, any shape, size, gender,or make. I can even love the bald sphinx(I think!) I feel, any cat, brings me luck... whether I want it or not.

French people consider Friday the 13th to be a good luck day. I guess a white cat must bring extra good luck.

Happy 13th!

A cat brings as much luck as you give it love, no matter the color!

Sometimes I wonder where these superstitions come from...then I find some wood to knock on and continue my day. :)
Happy Friday 13th!

What a beautiful cat. I can't worry about Friday the 13th because it was the day I was born. My mother never forgave me! Happily, in France, it doesn't seem to have the same connotation.

Clever you, BC. I will look forward to an uneventful afternoon. Thank you, white cat.

This cat looks as soft and fluffy as a feather pillow.

I commented on Sharon's Daily Photo site today that if she misses any details in her photos, like today's hiker, not to worry because Brattcat will notice and comment about them after they are posted. Sorry to put this pressure on on you, but you seem up to any challenge.

I only realized about 1/2 hour ago when they talked about superstitions on the radio that today was one of those days that I'm not afraid of! :-)

I like your whimsical post a lot!

I don't know about luck but my almost white cat brings me lots of fur around the house!
This little white cat has to be good luck :)

Considering this rather fatty white cat, we can get few kittens as a way of luck. It was a nice sunny day for me, Friday 13th.

Ooh, cute, pretty fluffball!!!

I had a fantastic Friday the 13th! Watched one of my favorite Tagalog plays again (the 5th time!) to introduce two friends to it. They loved it too! Very gratifying. :)

The statement this cat communicates is that you need to go on a diet.

Friday the 13th I was on Holiday at a sea resort in Southern Italy and it was a great, perfect, day.

Once 2 (and I mean TWO) black cats crossed my road as I was going to work... guess what: nothing bad happened that day!

Then there are days with no omens whatsoever and everything seems to go wrong. More than cats and Fridays, I guess it's the mood one wakes up with that makes the difference.
