We have Brown Thrashers who visit our yard too, along with a Madagascan Burrowing Cow who strolls by for a dig now and again. By the way, I didn't fall down the stairs, just needed something silly to say on my post yesterday :^)
I can see our birdfeeder and bath from my upstairs office window and often get face-to-face. I love the birds of spring and anticipate the arrival of the hummers.

Joyful and beautiful image for best wishes!
They don't have that kind of thrush here. I miss them from my childhood. Thanks.
I can enjoy the lovely song with hope of Sunny days of Spring, the little bird is adorable!
Happy Friday,
Léia

A wonderful capture of a beautiful bird to go with your words of caring and sympathy.
Great capture and great timing too, Brattcat!
They are as happy to greet the spring morning as you are.

Oh what a wonderful photo this is!
Oh it's singing it's little heart out there Brattcat, beautiful little bird, well shown here.

because it has an answer;
It sings
because it has a song."
Best wishes to your friend!
Lovely photo!
Oh, to catch the bird open-mouthed, mid-song! Hope your friend feels better soon.
