If that is a white carpet, it has a very deep pile.

It was a "big" carpet this time with an ice runner under the snow.

The carpet may be thick but, the scene is beautiful.

Such a sweet composition! Down the steps, across the road, to our friend's house we go! But very carefully. And would someone get the snow shovel out, please?

Yikes! Sounds like y'all are getting another round of the white stuff and the cold.

Re your comment: earned my stripes, indeed. Very funny!

Have a great day!

Very pleasing, that soft green against the deep white snow. . .Hope you and mr. b. are not straining your backs shoveling.

A carpet of winter beauty. I like the lead-in to the picture with the snowy pathway!

Hi BC. Re your comment on Ocala DP: the wheelchair is one of several provided for handicapped people. The store was not busy so he wasn't depriving anyone of a wheelchair, but he was a pain in the butt! And a danger, too, tearing about in that thing with all of us old folks just trying to stay upright!

His mother didn't seem to notice.

Is it the snow or the house or both that make this shot special? Very nice.

Pure Currier & Ives. We got off pretty easy compared to much of the Midwest and Northeast.

Oh how I like the peaks and porches of this house. It looks inviting even under a blanket of snow.

Hey that's my old house at 12 Chapin Street! Looks pretty in a blanket of snow from accross the street. How cool is that to see your old house in a blog. Love your photos!
