photo walk

yesterday i walked with sophie and adam from in-sight photography.
they taught me new tricks to do with my camera,
they taught me to look again at things i've seen a thousand times before,
they shared their enthusiasm and youth and knowledge with
such beauty and grace.
did anyone else participate in the world wide photo walk?

I didn't know about a photo walk but I was out taking pictures, in fact I was just over the VT border.

I think Jim in Terrell Texas did but I just took a ton of pics---Mts. Rainier and Baker were out so I enjoyed them. MB

Oops, I forgot to check this year. And last year, I was too late.

Glad you enjoyed yours and learned new things.

I stayed at home during the day, no walk and no beach on the weekends, it's crowded everywhere in summer... that's the price you pay for living on this coast. Besides it was (and it is) too hot. Glad you enjoyed your walk.

I did but it had just rained and downtown was like a big hot, muggy oven! I tried to look at the area I've photographed so many times with fresh eyes. I'm not sure I got much. Having folks nearby gave me the nerve to do some alley shots though!

I did not.....I was saying 'no' to the question..."Do you want to help me with this scrarecrow?"

I'm afraid I didn't know, however I did some solo photo walking late yesterday afternoon. Not as much fun as with other people, but rewarding just the same.

Photography does make one more observant.

We did not know about a photography walk day yesterday, but on my way home from work Julie did meet me with cameras so we could get some great photos of the dramatic Arizona monsoon season sky.

I wanted to participate but couldn't. I hope to something other time. It's such a great idea. Hope you had fun on your walk.

I didn't know about the walk either. Glad you were able to share it with fellow camera buffs from in-sight photography. Just stayed at home yesterday...hot to get out.

Nah, I was walking my own little tradition, but, as they say, the photographer is more important than the the camera. Q.E.D.

A WW photo walk?! a great idea, but i never heard about it!
To take picture opens your eyes, and to take pictures with people coming from an other place RE-open them! And I like this idea!

It's a long time I photo-walk on Sundays, but I did it all on my own...

Very nice. I think they do a photo walk here but it certainly was not publicized very well.

That's great that there was one in Brattleboro.

Clueless & I did Brian's WWP along Boston waterfront. We had a great time. There is so much to learn from each other. Others were very curious to see 40+ tripods and photographers. We must have been a odd sight indeed.
