if you're a guest at this tea party

you must drink rain water from your wine goblet,
sip duckgrass stew from the soup tureen,
sit attentively on cushions of mint and clover,
and never turn your back on the dormouse.
(art installation, johnston, rhode island)

a particular welcome to the table to new followers:
abe, frederique, john & ellen

Alice might like to take a sip or two at this table. Ok, you've got me to wondering... where is this? Brattcity? the World?

This looks like something Peter Greenaway might come up with. Nice capture!
Have a happy day!

If they serve little cucumber finger sandwiches with the tea, I would check to see how long the mayonaise or cream cheese has been left out.

Is this Wonderland close to your home?

Wow, might be okay for Mother Nature but it makes me want to go to Starbucks.

Oh Alice, Alice, I want to be you. This is utterly divine. Loosely based on...I guess. I do like the mind of this artist. How much nicer than an installation made of a bed, dirty underwear and cigarette butts...

You must have been in heaven, dear Brattcat.

Been thinking about this...what a glorious image. I suppose really it's more Miss Havisham, moved outdoors, than Alice. Why do I have to put things into neat little boxes?

That's how, only one step and we enter our childhood fairy world. Great find.

...I sometimes wonder how our world would look like if all human beings suddenly disappeared... Nature would certainly rule again... a picnic table would turn to something like this, I guess... Your pic leads me to imagine trees in my kitchen, birds and bugs everywhere, a crocodile in my bath and more and more... a very funny moment..thank you :-)
